My name is Ryan Zimmerman.  I am the radio voice of the University of Vermont women's basketball team.  In addition to my play-by-play broadcasting, I conduct and produce on-air interview segments for live broadcasts as well as write and deliver reads for the program's sponsors.

Additionally, I am the Broadcasting and Media Relations Associate for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, the Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.  In addition to providing play-by-play coverage for all home games, I compile game notes and postgame recaps, assist in overseeing the team's content creation efforts, run team social media accounts during games, and manage all press box operations on a nightly basis.  Previously, in 2022 and 2023, I served as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Gary SouthShore RailCats of the American Association of Professional Baseball (MLB Partner League).

Prior to my time in college basketball and Minor League Baseball, I was a Broadcasting and Media Relations Graduate Assistant at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.  I was the voice of the men's soccer team, men's and women's swimming and diving teams, a fill-in voice for men's basketball, and co-host of the school's weekly radio show.  I also handled many media relations duties including game previews, recaps, and Athlete of the Week articles as well as managing each team's social media account.

I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020 where I broadcast Golden Bears football, men's and women's basketball, hockey, and baseball.  As the Assistant Director of Sports Programming at 90.7 FM KALX Berkeley, I hosted Bear Talk, a weekly talk show centered around Cal and Bay Area sports.  While I was in school, I worked for various teams in collegiate summer baseball including the Cotuit Kettleers (Cape Cod Baseball League) in 2020 and the Sanford Mainers (New England Collegiate Baseball League) in 2019.
